Well if you're still reading I appreciate it and maybe you continued to read because you feel the same way as me. I am sick and tired of hearing about destructive actors like Charlie Sheen or Lindsey Lohan, the NFL complaining about working more but not getting paid more, or which celebrity couple is having another baby. Honestly people let's set our priorities straight ok! There was just a massive earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan leaving thousands dead, their nuclear plant was hit which is causing a significant amount of radiation which will result in cancer, towns were completely destroyed. American unemployment is rising, almost every state is in debt beyond belief, the homeless population is on the rise. We are at war and men and women who are bravely serving our country are dying so that we can live another day as a free nation.
Now I don't know about you but I hardly hear anything about these major issues and to me that is a huge problem! We as a nation need to wake up and realize that there are more important things happening in our world than Charlie Sheen's "tiger blood" or the sex of a celebrity's baby. Japan was hit very hard and it will most likely take them years to rebuild, families were destroyed and ripped apart, and their food and water supply right now is barely livable. America just seems to be spiraling down fast our debt is outrageous, homelessness, unemployment, and for closure is on a rise. And we are fighting a war that should have been over a long time ago, but instead our soldiers are still being killed.
Now if you can look at this next picture without a tear coming to your eye then you might have something wrong with you.

If you look closely those are dead bodies along with ruble and various other items. It was said that over 2,000 dead bodies washed up on the shore. How can our world see this and go on with our daily routine? It's disgusting, these are fish or garbage but someone's Mom, Dad, Brother, or Sister lying dead along with garbage. If anything is taken from this picture it would be to take for granted NOTHING and appreciate EVERYTHING. Remember before you leave to say "I Love You" to people you care about because you never know if it's your last time seeing them. Don't forget this picture because if you do you're disrespect all the people that died. We are now their voice so maybe spend a little more time worrying about the economy or disaster areas rather than which star is going to jail next.
